The Japanese men’s and women’s 4×100-meter freestyle relay teams each secured 2020 Olympic berths at the swimming world championships on Sunday.

日本男女4×100メートルフリーリレーチームはそれぞれ日曜日の世界水泳に出場して2020年のオリンピック出場を確実にした。

Japan finished ninth and fifth in the respective men’s and women’s 4×100 qualifier in Gwangju, South Korea to earn one of the Tokyo 2020 spots granted to the top 12 teams.

韓国の光州で開催された上位12チームに与えられる世界水泳の2020年の東京オリンピックの出場選考を兼ねた4×100メートルリレーで日本は男子が9位、女子が5位でそれぞれ終わった。
