E-commerce firm Mercari buys J.League's Kashima Antlers

通販売者のメルカリが鹿島アントラーズを買収した。

E-commerce firm Mercari Inc. announced Tuesday it has bought a controlling stake in the first-division Kashima Antlers soccer club, the most successful team in J. League history.

通販売者のメルカリが 火曜日Jリーグ史上最も成功しているチームであるJ1の鹿島アントラーズサッカークラブの経営権を獲得したと発表した。

Mercari will acquire a 61.6 percent stake in Kashima Antlers F.C. Co., which operates the club, from Nippon Steel Corp. on Aug. 30 for about ¥1.6 billion.
